Green co-anchored CBS Philly’s weekend morning newscasts and reported for both CBS Philly and The CW Philly. She covered a variety of local and national stories at CBS Philadelphia and The CW Philadelphia, including the 2006 Amish school shooting in the Nickel Mines, Pennsylvania, community, the 2007 Minneapolis bridge collapse, Super Bowl XXXIX, and the 2008 and 2009 World Series.
Green received the Doris Haire Award in 2017 for her coverage of the growing concern about the high number of C-sections performed in New Jersey, as well as a Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award in 2011 for coverage of a fatal duck boat crash in the Schuylkill River.
