Worley is an American journalist and broadcaster who currently serves as the tech contributor for Good Morning America on ABC, host, and blogger for a web show on Yahoo! Tech. She started out her journalism career as a TV producer for KOMO-TV news in Seattle.
Later, Worley left to consult on web design and information technology for small business. She then worked for ZDTV / TechTV for 6 years (1998–2005), though she began as a Line producer for Call For Help Worley is probably best known for being TechLive’s Computer Security Analyst.
Worley anchored, reported the news, and hosted a how-to show for TechTV. She wrote TechTV’s Security Alert: Stories of Real People Protecting Themselves from Identity Theft, Viruses, and Scams (TechTV, November, 2003) (ISBN 0-7357-1352-9).
In 2004, Worley hosted a series called Mother of All on the National Geographic Channel, a show in which fine arts and industrial arts were blended together using whatever material was available to make the “Mother of All” things.
She started on ABC’s Good Morning America in 2005 and has appeared on their Weekend Edition starting in 2011. Worley has appeared as a Technology Contributor for ABC Evening News since 2011. She has been with Yahoo! Tech since 2006 as a host and video blogger of the weekly web broadcast Hook Me Up.
